What we are?
George Eastman (the inventor of roll film and the founder of Kodak) stated: „What we do during our working hours determines what we have; what we do in our leisure hours determines what we are”. Of course one may find deeper meaning in his words, which he didn’t elaborated later on after all. As one knows, photography was his second nature. It would be interesting to know his opinion about the art of photography. I’ve been wondering how the photography may change people’s awareness and influence the way we are.

Faith in flattery
It turns out that every man plunging into the sea of flattery loses common sense and accuracy of assessment of his/her own abilities and skills… The amount of loss is proportional to the amount of faith… (one can talk about the first Hardnut right, lol!)… What’s the conclusion? Don’t plunge into it, because you will drown; don’t believe in flattery; or even better – try to plunge into the sea of “auto-ironic perception, i.e. keeping one’s at a distance as far as your works are concerned”, and swim peacefully ahead being aware of the infinity of human ignorance and the need of its reduction… and it doesn’t apply only to social network services, but to every aspect of our social life. Why, whatever we do is imperfect creation. C'est la vie!
